Match report A new season, a new hope! With 4 teams to stay in div 8 this year and the rest to drop into div 9 there is plenty to aim for this year!
It did not start well!

The shock started with Sefton itself, a track that was cut and rolled but the new groundman was clearly short of paint as the already short boundary was bought in even closer!!!!

Hayes 3s - who last year were Hayes 4s went off like a rocket and with some dropped catches and generous bowling that rocket kept soaring - generally for 6! They hit x2 100s in a massive total of 331-7, skippy bowled best with 3-65 and Luke got important wickets with 2-39, Charlie also got 1 but it was not a good start!

After an awesome tea from Sarah we went out needing 7 an over to chase! We started ok but went downhill fast, only knocks of note were 33 for Augi and 29 for new guy Steny (with some very interesting run calling). We went from 115-3 to 146 all out

Oh well, 6 points to start - verdict - must do better
