Match report After winning the league last week, Stoke Green knew they couldn't be complacent against a Slough team fighting relegation.

Slough won the toss and elected to bowl on a very wet and muddy pitch, after 5 overs Stoke green were yet to get off the mark but had already lost 3 wickets with Dan Simpson, Gully Khan and Saqlain Basharat all back in the pavilion without affecting the scoreboard. Vishal Arjan and Sukh Dhillon came together but Sukh dhillon departed with the score on 4-4. Arjan and Saud Ahmed started to rebuild over the next 10 overs until Arjan made a mistake and gave a simple catch to mid-wicket, With Ahmed batted well with the rest of the order and kept ticking the over, he received support from Zulfi Butt and Sajid Aziz but were eventually bundled out for 98 with Ahmed top scoring with 32.

With the wicket still wet and with some uneven bounce, Stoke Green knew if they got a few early wickets they could put the pressure on Slough. Slough came out looking to attack both spinners straight away by hitting two boundaries in the first over. This however gave Stoke Green early chances and slough were quickly reduced to 20-4, Slough's number 4 batsman Khurram batted very patiently but received no support from the other side. Slough were eventually bowled out for 73 with Zulfi Butt picking up 8-30.
