Match report With Stoke Green visiting Chiswick and Latymer, they knew a win would wrap up the title and their 4th consecutive promotion. Chiswick and Latymer are the only team to have beaten Stoke Green so far in the season so it was always going to be a tough match for the away side.

Chiswick won the toss and elected to bat, Saqlain Basharat and Saj Aziz opened the bowling and kept it tight for the first few overs, some good running between he opening batsman put the pressure on the Stoke Green bowlers and Chsiwick quickly raced away to 45 of their first 10 overs. Zulfi Butt was introduced into the attack and straight away struck with a few wickets. Chiswick kept trying to be aggressive against both spinners but kept losing wickets along the way and were dismissed for 116 of 35.2 overs. Saj Aziz picking up 5 - 44 of his 17.2 overs.

Dan Simpson and Gully Khan opened the batting and were greeted to some good bowling by Chsiwick opening bowler and overseas star Vikas Tokas, he quickly removed the top order and Stoke Green were struggling on 40-5 with the top 5 batsman back in the pavilion. Saud Ahmed provided some resistance scoring 19 and pushed the score up to 65. A mix up between Syed Kazmi and Saj Aziz quickly departed leaving Stoke Green on 70 - 8, Sukh Dhillon and Zulfi Butt got together and slowly got the score up to 92 before the captain was dismissed by Tokas. The last pair required 27 to win the game and the league, with some intelligent running between Tanveer Hussain and Zulfi Butt, they pushed the score onto 111 when Zulfi Butt scored consecutive boundaries to get Stoke Green over the line. Zulfi Butt stop scored with 31 not out.
