Match report
A game that we really wanted a win resulted in draw, how did that happen?

Well....

I won the toss and elected to bat first, with the inclusion of Taimoor and Joey we were quietly confident that we would achieve a good score.

We started slow and and gradually started to make a respectable score, everyone chipped in, with a late quick fire 19 from Charlie Holdship!!! Go Charlie!!

I scored 0, Aqib was run out again on 0 (thanks Trevor) and Greg in true number 11 fashion was out first ball LBW, though it was a controversial decision from Joey but that is cricket!!

So after we Got 135 runs (all out)we went for tea quiet relieved we manage to bat for almost the full 47 overs!!

Bellies full and fully recharged (though I felt like going to sleep) we went to out to bowl and hopefully be home for tea... however the opposition had other ideas..

Greg got one of the openers and then struck again and was on a hat-trick ball... but it was not meant to be.

Then entered Trevor and Moody in to the attack.... They slowed the opposition run rate down and then Moody went loco with deliveries starting way outside off stump then swinging back in to remove the bails!! Moody finished on 5 - 24 of 15 overs. Trevor bowled equally well and finished on 1 - 28 of 16 overs.

It looked like we were gonna win however their number 7 and 10 were extremely stubborn and blocked out the remaining overs.

The end result was a draw but a good draw for us as we can take many good points from the game mainly the fact we batted much better.
