Stoke Green Cricket Club 1st XI v Princes Risborough on Sat 04 Jun 2011 at 13:00
Stoke Green Cricket Club Won by 68 runs
Match report
A hot sunny day and SGCC were put into bat. The home team got off to a flying start again as openers Nadeem Choudary and Clive Bourne provided them with their second opening 100 partnership in consecutive games. Clive Bourne then fell for 40, whereas his fellow partner kicked on and scored 70. SGCC then had a classical scare as they slumped from 110-0 to 155-5. However, a late order rescue from skipper Sukh Dhillon and Ifraz Raja, scoring 27* and 41 respectively, allowed them to declare at 219-7 after 48 overs.
In reply, Princes Risborough got off a decent start as they were 48-0 after 11 overs. However, the Raja brothers then bowled the away team out taking wickets at regular intervals as they slumped to 151 all out - both taking 5 wickets a-piece.
Thats 5 out of 5 now for SGCC as they continue to top the league and grow their lead over the other teams.
