STOKE GREEN have recorded a third consecutive win in Thames Valley League Division One after a 71-run home victory against Boyne Hill on Saturday.
Having won the toss, Stoke elected to bat first and were bowled out for 163 after 47.2 overs. Raja Babar Ishtiaq top-scored with 71, while Karanpreet Singh made 23 and Zulfi Butt 21.
Ziya Mohammed led the Boyne Hill bowling attack with his figures of 4-10, backed up by Matthew Leipold (3-37) and Chris Shave (2-23).
In response, Boyne Hill were skittled for just 92 inside 28 overs. Ali Nadeem Abbasi was the destroyer-in-chief with his seven-wicket haul (7-43) from 14 overs and the other wickets fell to Butt (3-46).
Hamid Riaz top-scored for the losing side with his 28, but only Shave (20), Warren Miller (18) and Josh Roguski (10) could also reach double figures.
The results mean Stoke Green move up one place to second in the league table, with Boyne Hill dropping to seventh place.
Stoke Green make the short journey to Cookham Dean this Saturday whilst Boyne Hill host Cove.
