Match report
All three teams went out with the teams that were selected with no drop outs, the thirds were going out with a fairly strong side with the return of the swing king Aqib, master batsmen Idris and 3rd team debut for Augie.

Having won the toss I selected to bat first. Idris and Rahul opened the batting, and the runs were flowing at a steady pace thanks to Idris, though he only made 25 runs he gave us the start we needed. Wokingham soon introduced their slower/spin bowler and we had mini collapse losing Taimoor and James cheaply, Rahul was plucking away and was the anchor for the first half of the innings and after destroying one of his bats he was out for 44. Simon and Augie were at the crease, Simon defending one end and Augie Blasting at the other end hitting 48 which included 4 sixes and 4 fours!! We got to about 175 and with all our better batsmen out it was up to the last 4 to get us over the 200 mark.Myself and Greg were at the crease and we manged to get to 195. In came Aqib and played a lovely looking drive which he actually edged for 4.....so 199...The next over Greg was facing and he knowing our target was 200 he got two runs of the penultimate bowl of the 44 over...201 and he then gracefully defended the last ball which also signalled our declaration.

So have been set 202 to win of 46 overs Wokingham came out to bat.
Greg And Augie opened the Bowling and like always we got quick and early wickets and we thought it was in the bag, however their number 2 and number 5 batsmen had other ideas. We grafted away, fielded hard, Aqib came on and was bowling well and bowled the number , got the wicket we needed, in came their captain who blocked at least 20 overs the last game we played, however we plucked away changed the bowling frequently not allowing the batsmen to settle and we eventually got them all out winning by 35 runs.

All round great display from Stoke Green 3rds, proud to be Captain, the future looks for Stoke Green Cricket club.
Superb bowling from Greg who got 5 for 40 runs, great comeback from Aqib who got 3 for 14.
Key innings from Augie (48 runs), and Rahul (44 runs).
