Match report The one with Taher's awesome catch and farcical run out.

In a shock to the system, James actually won his first toss of the year and put us out into the field on the seasons hottest saturday so far - thanks skippy

Uzi was bowling some fine pace bowling but it was Charlie that benefitted from it at the other end and had Ickenham 27-3 very quickly with a spell of 3-19, it including a gloved catch from taher that saw him diving full length in front of 1st slip - Awesome. Ickenham then fought back with an 81 run partnership that thankfully ended in complete farce. An edge was dropped by Taher and landed only a yard or two behind him but the non-striker, on 45, couldnt see it, and called the single thinking it had rolled further - Taher crawled to the ball and then crawled to the stumps to flatten them with a shocked batsmen still only half way down the wicket!!!! Ickenham then collapsed - from 108-3 to 136 all out. Mark took 4-30 and gained another run out and Uzi got a much deserved wicket ending with figues of 1-19 off ten overs.

In reply Taimoor and Allen got off to a slow steady start making it to 30 before the loss of Allen - if anyone finds him let Augi know he wants him back! Tim with his average of 185 then strode to the wicket only to stride right back again out for a golden duck! Things got a bit more worrying when we fell to 58-4 but then some solid batting from Skippy and some very hard hitting from Imran saw a partnership of 79 win us the game.

Burgers, chips and ice cream were had in celebration!
