Match report Stoke Green visited Bagshot for their return fixture, with thunder and heavy overnight rain it seemed as though the fixture would not go ahead especially as Bagshot did not cover the pitch.

Winning the toss skipper Sukh Dhillon took a brave decision and chose to bat on a wet wicket. Dan Simpson and Saud Ahmed opened the batting but Ahmed was dismissed early without affecting the scoreboard. Simpson and Gully Khan then dealt in boundaries for the next few overs until both departed swiftly with the score on 28-3 after 10 overs. This brought Shameera Weerasinghe and Vishal Arjan to the crease who slowly went about building a partnership, they both put away the bad balls and pushed the score unto 73 - 3 after 19 overs. A mix up between the pair sent Weerasinghe back with a well made 22 and this led to a collapse from 73-3 to 82-7 of 28 overs. Arjan departed after making 34 and this brought captain Sukh Dhillon to the crease with the score on 88-8. With the help of Syed Kazmi and Zulfi Butt, Dhillon pushed the score up to 143 and made an important 23 lower down the order.

With the wicket now dry and some uneven bounce, Stoke Green decided to take the old ball and spin twins Saj Aziz and Zulfi Butt set about destroying Bagshots top order, leaving them 13-4 after 7 overs. Bagshot's number 6 batsman A.Dunnage counter attacked and chanced his luck to make a quick fire 59 but with no one supporting him from the other end Bagshot were bundled out for 101 with Saj Aziz getting 6-53.

Stoke Green host Thatcham Town next weekend hoping to add to their 84 point lead.
