Match report Skipper lost the toss and, as predicted, Slough choose to bat!

We knew we had to e sharp in the field and bowl tight to restrict a good slough team. SGCC did not get off to a good start, with too many four balls.

Parker got the early breakthrough and slough were 16-1. After this the wheels came off a little and SGCC dropped 8 catches, with G Khan being dropped 6 times to this 127. Stoke had a shocker in the field, which was quite unusual.

Slough try to buy early wickets by using part time bowlers and this worked, with both openers out within 9 overs. Rishi bowled well and was supported well by the Slough bowlers, however Stoke did not help with their shot selection. Stoke lost 4 wickets for 15 runs in the middle order and never recovered.

This has to put down to a seriously bad day in the office and will need to improve quickly. Four big games now await us!
