Match report Stoke Green beat Great Brickhill by 63 runs in the 2nd round of the NVKO to progress through to the semi-finals.

The visitors won the toss and elected to field first. The Greens got off to a scratchy start as they were 37-3 in 10 overs. New recruit Vishal Arjan top scored with a gritty half-century as the other batsmen failed to make much impact. R.Ifraz made 16 before he was run-out via a direct hit. The rest of the batsmen were undone by some good left-arm spin. The Greens were bowled out for 139 failing to bat out their 40 overs.

Richard Parker then continued his good bowling form to dismantle the top order as he took 4-6 before tea. Brickhill's top order were completely blown away as they were 14-4. After tea, Irham Mughal took another 2 wickets to make further inroads as Brickhill were reduced to 30-6. It then became difficult to take wickets as Brickhill were just looking to block. However, Raja Ifraz cleaned up the tail again with 3 wickets as the visitors struggle finally ended as they were bowled out for 76 after an aggressive bowling performance.

Stoke Green will now face Ibstone in the semi-finals in 2 weeks time.
