Stoke Green Cricket Club 1st XI v Farnham Common on Sat 23 Apr 2011 at 13:30
Stoke Green Cricket Club Won by 81 runs
Match report
The second friendly resulted in a more favorable result as SGCC won comfortably against Farnham Common. The home team was in trouble as they were 117 for 8, however, Irham Mughal and Luke Woodland helped push the score up quickly to 186 with knocks of 39 and 31*, respectively. Farhan Sheikh also provided a valuable contribution at the top of the order with 36. That might be a little setback as SGCC will not have him during the first 3 league games.
The bowlers then did a fine job of bowling the opposition all out for 105 with Latif Khan and skipper Sukh Dhillon taking 3-a-piece. Amazingly, 8 of the dismissles were bowled, with one LBW.
